Romantic Wedding at the Torre di Scopello

Spontaneity. That was the key word that defined the evocative wedding at the Torre di Scopello (historically known as Torre Doria) of Laura and Emanuele.

From our very first meeting, Laura made it clear that she loves spontaneous and natural photos. And that was exactly what she wanted for her wedding photography at the Torre di Scopello. So I made it my goal to tell the story of her unforgettable day through images that felt as genuine and unposed as possible.

In fact, it was quite easy for me to adapt to the situation, because both the bride and groom and all of their guests were truly dynamic and natural even in front of the camera. They practically didn’t even notice me. And that is a good thing. Because when people feel embarrassed in front of the lens or constantly worry about looking good, it shows immediately, and they risk appearing unnatural.

What is more, both the couple and their guests fully embraced the here and now without giving in to the temptation to pose in front of the camera. In short, we all had a great time, them and me alike.

And then there is this incredibly atmospheric venue. The ancient Torre di Scopello stands on top of a rocky promontory, in an elevated position, surrounded by a stunning sea and protected, unspoiled nature. It is, in practice, a small earthly paradise. That is where my inspiration came from to also highlight the landscape and scenery of this place.

Everything was further enhanced by the talent of Wedding Designer Mauro Adami, who took care of every little detail of Laura and Emanuele’s wedding with great precision. From the floral design to the lighting, from the layout to the styling of the head table. From the perfectly timed flow of the event to the handmade place cards. And there were certainly many other aspects of his work that I may be overlooking right now.

Last but not least, the catering by Hotel Belvedere once again proved to be exceptional. Excellent food, with unusual yet well-balanced flavor combinations, and service that was precise, friendly, and highly professional.
